Mila

Mila is a creator of experiences who has always explored the senses through her work. Her passion for discovering botany and its aromas comes from her female lineage. Her great-grandmother was a medicine woman and herbalist, while her grandmother carried on the tradition and shared health and botanical practices for herself and her family and other people willing to give nature an opportunity. Both women lived to be centenary. Over time,  this became a source of inspiration.

"My grandmother's daily activities were closely linked to working with plants. I was her shadow and followed her everywhere during the first seven years of my life. She shared with me her knowledge of how to honour nature and how to use it for our benefit. House of Gorgona is my tribute to her."

Mila es una creadora de experiencias que siempre ha explorado los sentidos a través de su trabajo. Su pasión por descubrir la botánica y sus aromas le viene de su linaje femenino. Su bisabuela era curandera y herbolaria, mientras que su abuela continuó la tradición y compartió prácticas botánicas y de salud para ella, su familia y otras personas dispuestas a darle una oportunidad a la naturaleza. Ambas mujeres vivieron hasta ser centenarias. Con el tiempo, esto se convirtió en una fuente de inspiración.
"Las actividades diarias de mi abuela estaban estrechamente ligadas al trabajo con las plantas. Yo era su sombra y la seguí a todas partes durante los primeros siete años de mi vida. Ella compartió conmigo su conocimiento sobre cómo honrar la naturaleza y cómo utilizarla para nuestro beneficio. House of Gorgona es mi homenaje a ella."
